There are many important discussion items on the table.
What specific comments do you have on the draft vision and draft priorities
You can post public comments here. Just email them to me and I will post them.
- 3/15/07 - Ann Splinter: "Everything looks good from our last meeting.
I worked on a possible starting point for the Arts/Culture Education goal........
Greater Mankato will collaborate with all area educational institutions to create a plan to emphasize the importance of quality arts/culture education. The plan will address offering programs and opportunities for students of all ages and abilities, setting the highest curriculum standards, help with securing funding for special art/culture events, and hiring the most motivated and qualified instructors."
- 3/16/07 - Joan Eisenreich: "I’m afraid we didn’t pare this down to far. This is what we came up with for the Arts And Cultural Education Priorities. Hopefully, this has arrived in plenty of time so you can review it, get back to me with questions etc before the Wednesday meeting."
- 3/19/07 - Anne Ganey: "I am taking the liberty of proposing the attached vision statement. It is largely plagiarized from Envision 2020 but hey, if 200 community leaders liked that one, why reinvent the wheel? It seems to make sense that our vision statement mesh well with the Envision 2020 vision statement."
